Areas of Practice
Christopher joined St John’s Chambers on 1st August 2006. His specialist areas are real property, landlord and tenant, equity and trusts, wills and probate, intellectual property, insolvency, contract and professional negligence.
Real Property
Christopher has a broad expertise in a variety of property related areas including:
- Easements: rights of way, rights to light and water rights
- Boundaries
- Mobile homes
- Restrictive covenants
- Mortgages
- Sale of land: disputed title, misrepresentation, conditional contracts
- Torts relating to land
Recent cases have included disputed ownership of an area of woodland, misrepresentation in the sale of property, appearances before the Adjudicator to H.M. Land Registry and the interference of an easement by untethered rotteweilers.
