Areas of Practice
Sarah-Jane Hurrion was called to the Bar in 2000. She commenced practice at Chambers in Bristol before moving to the Cayman Islands in July 2006 to specialise in international commercial and insolvency law as an in-house barrister at Walkers. Whilst offshore, she was involved in a wide variety of substantial commercial cases including a 50 million dollar insurance claim against Lloyd’s of London and also acted for various multinational corporations and high-profile distressed hedge funds following the sub-prime mortgage crises. She now returns to the Bar and joined St John’s Chambers on 2 February 2009. She specialises in commercial litigation with an emphasis on banking, insolvency and company disputes.
