Katie joined Chambers in October 2009 following successful completion of her pupillage in Chambers. Prior to that, Katie gained a First Class MA in Jurisprudence at Oxford University and an Outstanding grade on the Bar Vocational Course at Cardiff University.

Construction
Katie has experience of both commercial and residential construction cases, involving both allegations of defective works and failure to pay invoices. She has experience of acting for both builders and property owners in these matters.
Insolvency (Corporate and Personal)
Katie regularly acts on behalf of creditors and debtors (both companies and individuals).
Professional Negligence
Katie advises in professional negligence matters related to her areas of expertise noted above and, in particular, has experience of advising in negligence claims against solicitors in conveyancing transactions.
Planning and Administrative Law
Katie has experience in planning and administrative law matters. In particular, Katie has acted in injunction proceedings under s.81 (5) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and in planning matters on behalf of local authorities.
