Employment
Jody has an expanding practice in all areas of Employment Law acting for both Claimants and Respondents in Employment Tribunal matters. Jody is able to advise and represent clients at all stages of litigation including internal disciplinary proceedings. He has a particular interest in the following areas:
- Unfair dismissal
- Discrimination cases
- Transfer of Undertakings
- Trade Union Matters

Prior to becoming a tenant Jody was an active member of the Free Representation Unit in London. He continues to undertake Pro Bono Claimant work on the Western Circuit.

Reported Decisions
- Dooley v UCATT (D44-49/10-11) – Jody appeared for the Claimant in this case and was successful in obtaining a re run of the election for the union’s General Secretary and the immediate dismissal of the union’s current General Secretary. Jody has a particular expertise in cases involving Trade Union matters.
