St John’s Chambers’ Complex & Serious Inquest Team, in association with Renvilles, invite you to this Inquests and The Coroners’ Courts Support Service seminar, which will provide both a personal insight into the support service from members of the CCSS and an overview of recent legal developments.
Our Team is the only one on the Western Circuit to be recommended in Legal 500, with both speakers; Tom Leeper and Emma Zeb also being recognised as Leading Juniors. The Complex & Serious Inquest Team often represents bereaved families, as well as government departments and agencies, such as the MOD, MOJ, and health authorities, in lengthy and complex inquests, which attract considerable media coverage. They are renowned for both their technical expertise and great advocacy skills in what are inevitably highly sensitive and emotive proceedings.
The seminar will examine key issues arising from recent judicial decisions along with their practical implications in this fast developing area of the law. In addition to our Leading Juniors, speakers include; Roey Burden OBE, CCSS Founder Trustee & CCSS Director Beverley Radcliffe, CCSS Volunteer, Margaret Briggs, Assistant Coroner & Partner , Enable Law, Mike Bird, Director of Renvilles Costs Lawyers & Consultants, Mike Renville, Director of Medico-Legal Services Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA), Lisa O’Dwyer, and our Seminar Chair, Maria Voisin, HM Senior Coroner for the Area of Avon.
We would be delighted if you could join us after the event for a drinks and canapés networking reception.
