Areas of Practice
Family Law
Louise has been in practice at St John’s since 1989 and is a specialist family practitioner.
She undertakes all aspects of Children Act work and Ancillary Relief. She has extensive experience of care proceedings, instructed by parents, local authorities and guardians in a range of matters including complex N.A.I., sexual abuse and finding of fact split hearings.
She is regularly instructed in protracted proceedings and is happy to appear in cases commencing in the Family Proceedings Court through to High Court and Court of Appeal.
Louise has also been instructed in Wardship cases, forced Marriage Act and applications under High Court inherent jurisdiction. Ancillary relief instructions including those involving Childrens Act Schedule 1 with assets abroad and complex disclosure issues.
