Family Law
Dianne is a specialist family practitioner. She has been with St John’s Chambers since September 1992 having previously followed a career in teaching at Secondary level.
She undertakes all aspects of Children Act work, ancillary relief and cohabitation. International aspects of family law are a particular interest.
During the past three years she has concentrated increasingly on financial work and regularly deals with cases involving substantial assets. Care work is undertaken in both the County Court and High Court under instruction from local authorities, parents and Guardians and includes cases where physical/sexual abuse, shaking injuries and fictitous illness abuse are major issues.
She is involved in the Bath Family Court Users Group.
Dianne has twin sons, now adult and her interests include music, riding, skiing and water sports (sailing/windsurfing). She is a qualified physical education teacher and fitness instructor.
