Areas of Practice
Family Law
Abigail specialises in Family Law with a particular interest in cohabitation disputes arising under the TLATA 1996. In her practice she draws upon her previous experience as a University lecturer having taught Family Law (and Property Law) at undergraduate and postgraduate level for a number of years before being called to the Bar.
Abigail has an extensive list of publications in a range of journals including Family Law; Child and Family Law Quarterly; Journal of Social Welfare and Family Law. In addition, she is willing to give presentations on recent developments within the field of Family Law.
Education Law
Abigail also accepts instructions to advise and represent parents or local education authorities in SENDIST appeals or in wider education law matters. She is keen to discuss matters ahead of formal instruction where appropriate.
