New Silks Join our Family Team
St John’s Chambers are delighted to announce that Frances Judd QC and Piers Pressdee QC of Harcourt Chambers have joined us as Associate Tenants.
These new appointments to the Family Team make St John’s Chambers one of the leading sets in the country as they join the highly respected family silks Christopher Sharp QC and Susan Jacklin QC.
Frances has specialised in family law for over twenty years and took silk in 2006, rapidly establishing herself nationally as one of the leading advocates in the Family Division She frequently appears as the sole advocate for one party, but in more complex or important cases Frances will appear with a junior barrister or solicitor-advocate.
Piers Pressdee QC is one of the leading children law barristers in the country. Called in 1991, he took silk in 2010 and at age 41 is one of the youngest family silks ever appointed. Piers practises exclusively in private and public children law, undertaking complex and important cases at first instance and on appeal.
