After 15 years living in Holland, during which time Isabelle worked as a PA for an NGO and the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Isabelle returned to the UK. Whilst at the UN, Isabelle first spent 3 years as Personal Assistant to three Trial Judges, and then transferred to Administration / General Support Services including managing the UN’s Protocol Office.

In 2003 she joined Chambers as Executive Assistant to the CEO. Two years later she took on the role of Office Manager – responsible for the administration of Chambers including budget and finance, human resources, information technology, premises & procurement, implementation of standards and policies working alongside Derek Jenkins, as well as being Derek’s and Susan Hunter’s PA. Isabelle and her 4 staff facilitate the provision of legal services for the members and staff of Chambers.

When not working, Isabelle volunteers with the Scout Association, supporting the County Commissioner for Avon on special projects. Isabelle’s hobbies include learning upholstery, playing the Saxaphone, attempting to distinguish between the valuable plants in her garden and the weeds; working through her bucket list of things to do and spending time with her husband and children.
