Areas of Practice
Rebecca is a personal injury practitioner. She regularly advises and appears in relation to personal injury matters on the fast and multi track acting for both claimants and defendants. Known for her attention to detail, practical approach and friendly manner Rebecca’s practice encompasses all aspects of personal injury.
Her wide experience of cases includes road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, occupiers’ liability, highways, Coroner’s Inquests and CRU Appeals. In respect of road traffic litigation, Rebecca has experience in dealing with credit hire disputes. She also has experience in advising in respect of civil fraud arising out of road traffic accidents including allegations of low velocity and staged accidents. She is also one of a number of preferred Counsel for local authorities.
Rebecca regularly attends trials, case management conferences, interim applications, claims involving children and assessment of damages hearings.
Rebecca has developed a strong paperwork practice, regularly preparing advices and pleadings in all aspects of personal injury litigation. She is happy to undertake appropriate cases on a CFA basis and endeavours to return paperwork within 14 days of receipt, but is happy to work to tighter deadlines where possible.
In addition to her work in personal injury, Rebecca undertakes cases involving clinical negligence and is keen to develop her practice further. She regularly advises on dental negligence matters and has a growing practice in relation to medical negligence.
Prior to successfully completing pupillage at Chambers Rebecca spent three years working as a personal injury paralegal with two nationally recognised firms gaining experience of both Claimant and Defendant work thus having a working understanding of the day to day management of cases.
