Areas of Practice
Stephanie joined the personal injury practice group in June 2009 after transferring to the Bar at the end of 2008.
Having qualified as a solicitor in 1995, Stephanie joined Burroughs Day solicitors in 1999 to specialise in personal injury law. During her time with the firm she was head of the public and employers’ liability teams and became a partner in 2002. Stephanie acted for clients in all areas of personal injury law before various tribunals including the Court of Appeal.
As a solicitor Stephanie was a Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Solicitors and a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers’ Association.
Personal Injury
Stephanie has extensive experience and expertise in all areas of personal injury law and acts for both claimants (from whom she regularly accepts instructions on a conditional fee agreement basis) and defendants. As a keen motorcyclist Stephanie has a particular interest in motorcycle accidents claims.
Costs
Stephanie also has an interest in costs and is happy to accept instructions in respect of summary and detailed assessments.
