Sophie is undertaking a specialist family pupillage under the supervision of Judi Evans (Head of the Family Practice Group) and Andrew Commins.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Sophie spent over two years working in the family team of a highly respected law firm based in the South West. During this time she assisted on a variety of private and public law children matters. She regularly conducted meetings with clients and gained considerable experience of drafting evidential documents.
Sophie also volunteered with the National Centre for Domestic Violence. In this role, Sophie prepared urgent applications for Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders and represented victims of alleged domestic abuse at Court.
Sophie’s commitment to the practice of Family Law is demonstrated not only by her experience, but by her being awarded the Joseph Jackson Scholarship, for Family Law, by Middle Temple in 2014.
