Advising private individuals, professionals and entrepreneurs

St John’s Chambers provides legal advice and representation to people from all walks of life, from high net-worth individuals to those of below average means; in fact, to anyone requiring legal assistance, regardless of creed, colour, ethnicity or gender. You can come to us in the traditional way via your solicitor or you can come to us direct through the Public Access scheme (see below).

We are a large, highly regarded Chambers with over 80 specialist barristers covering all major areas of law, so no matter what problem you are facing, we have the expertise and experience you need. We will answer your questions, advise the best solution and provide the strongest representation to ensure the best possible outcome, so you can move on with your life.

Most commonly, we advise individual clients on issues relating to divorce, children and children in care, and disputes relating to family money, wills and inheritance, tax and personal finance, property, planning and employment issues. We also help professionals, doctors, CEO’s, company directors and executives with business related matters such as shareholder disputes, company law, partnership disputes, contracts, licensing and professional regulatory and disciplinary matters.

We have the strength and depth of expertise to advise on any claim, however complex or whatever its value. We are also large enough to ensure we can offer barristers at all levels of seniority, which means that whether your case requires a top tier Silk or a razor-sharp junior, we will always be able to provide the right barrister with the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience for your specific case. We have a reputation for excellence and are committed to providing an efficient, responsive and professional service.

Public Access

As mentioned above, you can come to us via your solicitor or, if you prefer, you can come to us direct through the Public Access scheme. By coming direct to St John’s Chambers for legal advice, you have easy and cost-effective access to high calibre legal expertise and representation.

At St John’s, we have a large number of barristers who are qualified under the Licensed Public Access scheme to provide legal advice to licensed organisations and individuals.
