S v M
Barrister:
Area of law:

25 October 2016
Robert represented the defendant in this case where the claimant alleged that she had been hit by the defendant’s car while on a pedestrian crossing. There was a factual dispute as to when the claimant had entered the road and whether the car had jumped a red light. There were also credibility issues raised in relation to the claimant’s reporting of her pre-accident condition to the medical expert. The claimant’s account was found to be unreliable and the claim was dismissed in full.
