St John’s Chambers has renamed its Chancery & Commercial team to the Business & Property team.
The change follows the recent announcement by the Lady Chief Justice and the Lord Chancellor to modernise the structure of the High Court through the replacement of the Chancery Division with the new the Business and Property Division.
As the courts adopt new terminology, our Business & Property team continues to advise and represent clients across the full range of matters, including commercial disputes, company and partnership litigation, insolvency, trusts and estates, professional negligence, real property, and agricultural disputes.
Clients and instructing solicitors will continue to have access to the same breadth of expertise and specialist advocacy that has long been associated with the team.
The team’s barristers regularly appear in the Business and Property Courts and at all levels of the court system, acting for businesses, professionals, public bodies and private individuals in complex and high-value litigation, as well as providing bespoke specialist advisory work.
