The Queen has appointed Stephanie Louise Cope to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Western Circuit, based at Bristol Civil and Family Justice Centre with effect from 12 October 2020.

Stephanie Louise Cope, aged 49, will be known as Her Honour Judge Cope. She was called to the Bar (L) in 2008. She was appointed as a Tribunal Judge in 2007, as a Deputy District Judge in 2008 and as a District Judge in 2012.
