Ben successfully represented the Defendant insurer in this civil fraud trial in which a fundamentally dishonest claim for damages was dismissed by His Honour Judge Petts sitting in Cardiff County Court, and following which the Claimant was required to pay the Defendant’s costs on the indemnity basis after a successful application to remove his QOWCS protection under r.44.16 of the CPR.
