Charlie Newington-Bridges was instructed by Gregg Latchams Solicitors to act for the claimant in a trial which was reported in news media as a landmark case, and involved demonstrations outside court. The claim was between a national pub operator and a local landlord. The dispute centred on the attempted renewal of a lease by the claimant and the opposition to that renewal by the pub operator. Charlie acted as sole counsel at trial.
