Leslie Blohm QC recently spoke at the Agricultural Law Association’s National Conference on Thursday, 7th November at The Copthorne Tara Hotel, Kensington, London.

Leslie provided a case law update to delegates, focusing on a selection of cases that have particular significance to agriculture, whether to family succession and farms (proprietary estoppel), impediments to development of agricultural land (commons and Town and Village Greens), the extent of ancillary rights of access in agricultural leases, or notices to quit relating to Agricultural Holdings Act tenancies.

Leslie was awarded ‘Chancery Silk of the Year’ at the Chambers Bar Awards 2019, and maintains a formidable reputation in agriculture and rural affairs on the Western Circuit with over thirty years’ experience advising farmers, farming partnerships and companies in respect of contracts for the sale and purchase of land; rights over and restrictive of land; tenancies (both under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995); and partnership and succession disputes.
