The Family Law Awards 2025 has announced the nominees for this year’s awards, and we are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in two categories:

  • Family Law Chambers of the Year – Regional
  • Family Law Young Barrister of the Year – Georgina Swinglehurst

Our strong family law team, headed by Zoë Saunders, with 2 silks and 30 juniors were voted ‘Regional Family Law Chambers of the Year’ at the Family Law Awards 2023 and nominated again last year (2024), and we’re thrilled to have been nominated again this year. We continue to attract high-quality work in financial remedy and public &  private children law proceedings and are ranked Band 1 in Chambers Guide to the Bar UK and Tier 1 in the Legal 500 UK Bar.

Georgina Swinglehurst is a specialist family law barrister who acts in all areas of private family law, specifically financial remedy proceedings, private children disputes, issues of jurisdiction including international child relocation, cohabitation disputes and applications under the FLA 1996 (domestic violence). Georgina is ranked in the Legal 500 as a “Rising Star (Tier 1)” in both financial remedy and children matters. She has been described as being wise beyond her years, excellent with clients in the most difficult situations, having an in-depth knowledge of the law and being a fierce opponent in court, with advocacy skills that help to secure the best outcome for her clients.

The winners will be chosen by a judging panel made up of several leading figures from the legal profession, and beyond.

The Family Law Awards will be held on Wednesday, 19th November 2025 at Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge. Further details can be found here.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our clients who took time to put forward some incredible feedback about our family barristers for the purpose of the submissions.
