Georgina is an experienced junior barrister specialising in commercial law and wills and trusts disputes.
She has a developed a practice focused on resolving complex legal disputes by providing clear, practical, and sensitive advice to a wide range of clients.
Georgina has appeared as sole counsel in the Business and Property Courts on numerous occasions, and regularly advises clients on matters such as claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, challenges to testamentary capacity, disputes over the validity of wills, undue influence, and disputes relating to the interpretation and administration of trusts. She has a deep understanding of the emotional and financial complexities surrounding family dynamics and estate distribution.
Throughout her career, Georgina has also built a growing commercial law practice representing clients in complex commercial disputes. She has appeared in court as sole counsel in a sale of goods dispute and attended numerous mediations on behalf of clients concerned with disputes relating to the sale of goods and supply of services. As part of her commercial practice, Georgina has also gained experience with company law and insolvency issues; including winding up and bankruptcy petitions.
Georgina is experienced in both litigation and alternative dispute resolution; guiding clients sensitively and efficiently through challenging legal issues. She regularly appears in the County Court dealing with trials and interim procedural hearings; such as applications to strike out, injunctions and applications to set aside default judgments, alongside her busy paper practice.
