Family Law team shortlisted for ‘Regional Family Law Chambers of the Year’ at Family Law Awards 2021
The Family Law Awards 2021 has announced the nominees for this year’s ‘Regional Family Law Chambers of the Year Award’ and we are delighted that St John’s Family & Divorce team has been shortlisted.
The shortlists were chosen by a judging panel made up of representatives of the Family Law Bar Association, Resolution, the Association of Lawyers for Children, and CILEx along with Family Law editors and publishing executives.

Sarah Phillimore is awarded ‘Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year’ at the 10th Bristol Law Society’s Annual Awards
We are delighted to announce that Family Law barrister, Sarah Phillimore won the ‘Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year’ award at the 10th Bristol Law Society’s Annual Awards 2019. The ceremony took place on Thursday, 24th October at the Marriott City Centre Hotel in Bristol, and was attended by over three hundred legal professionals.
This award recognises Sarah’s strong and dedicated commitment to the supply of pro bono for the benefit of individuals, organisations and the region.

St John’s Chambers shortlisted for ‘Chambers of the Year’ by STEP Private Client Awards 2018/19
We are delighted to announce that St John’s Chambers have been shortlisted by the STEP Private Client Awards 2018/19 for their ‘Chambers of the Year’ award. It is a great achievement in itself as the awards span the entirety of the UK and include London sets as well. The winners will be decided on the 7 November at the awards ceremony hosted at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London. As well as being shortlisted for their ‘Chambers of the Year’ 2017 award, our specialist wills & trusts team have been described by Legal 500 as the strongest Chancery set in Bristol. The team advise and represent clients in a broad range of disputes, with a particular strength in complex contentious trusts and inheritance disputes.

Natasha Dzameh winner of Bristol Law Society’s ‘Barrister of the Year’ 2017
It is with great pleasure that we announce the achievement of Natasha Dzameh, one of our commercial & chancery barristers, in winning the Bristol Law Society’s “Barrister of the Year 2017” award last night. She was lauded as an excellent lawyer and was also commended on her client service skills. Her accomplishment is demonstrative of the diligence she applies to every case and the priority with which she treats client satisfaction.
