St John’s Chambers is pleased to announce that were have been awarded by the Bristol Law Society ‘Chambers of the Year 2025’.

It is with great pleasure that we announce that our Family & Divorce team led by Zoe Saunders have won ‘Family Law Chambers of the Year – Regional’ for LexisNexis Family Law Awards 2025. Chambers was the only Set on the Western Circuit to be shortlisted.

St John’s Chambers is pleased to announce that at Bristol Law Society’s annual awards dinner on 3rd November, we received the award for ‘Chambers of the Year 2022’.

The team enjoy a national reputation for the reliable, helpful and efficient service they provide to clients, always going that extra mile. The Family Law Awards 2021 has announced the nominees for this year’s ‘Regional Family Law Chambers of the Year Award’ and we are delighted that St John’s Family & Divorce team has been shortlisted.
The shortlists were chosen by a judging panel made up of representatives of the Family Law Bar Association, Resolution, the Association of Lawyers for Children, and CILEx along with Family Law editors and publishing executives.

It is with great pleasure that we announce that St John’s Chambers have won ‘Set of the Year’ (outside London) for The Legal 500 Bar Awards 2022. Chambers was the only Set on the Western Circuit to be shortlisted. This clearly demonstrates the high level complex instructions we are receiving from law firms across the UK, and our commitment to delivering client care of the very highest standards.

We are delighted to announce that Family Law barrister, Sarah Phillimore won the ‘Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year’ award at the 10th Bristol Law Society’s Annual Awards 2019. The ceremony took place on Thursday, 24th October at the Marriott City Centre Hotel in Bristol, and was attended by over three hundred legal professionals.
This award recognises Sarah’s strong and dedicated commitment to the supply of pro bono for the benefit of individuals, organisations and the region.
